FORMER NFL AND USFL GREAT, COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAMER, AND GREAT CONSERVATIVE HERSCHEL WALKER ELECTED TO #FIGHTBACK BOARD
The Board of Directors of #FightBack, a Texas 501(c)(4) non-profit foundation is pleased to announce the election of Herschel Walker to its Board.
Herschel’s addition to the #Fightback Board evidences the foundation’s continued focus on protecting the constitutional rights, livelihoods, and property of all Americans and pushing back against big tech censorship.
Herschel Walker is an American legend and American hero. Herschel is admired by the masses for his athletic skills and career and for his dedication to social justice and rule of law.
Herschel was a three-time SEC Player of the Year, three-time consensus All-American, and Heisman Trophy-winning running back for the Georgia Bulldogs. In his freshman year in 1980, Herschel led the Bulldogs to a National Championship. After his college career, Herschel went on to play in the USFL for the New Jersey Generals where he was a two-time All-USFL selection and the league MVP in 1985. In the NFL, Herschel was a star player for the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings, and a two-time Pro Bowl selection. Herschel has been recognized as one of the greatest college football players in history and was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. While still playing in the NFL, Herschel represented the United States of America on the Olympic bobsled team during the 1992 games in Albertville, France.
Herschel’s success is rooted in humble beginnings. He was one of seven children in a blue-collar household, but his mother instilled in him a work ethic and taught him to never allow challenges to serve as excuses in his life. Herschel’s life testimony and his Christian faith propels his present efforts and future desire to help other people. He serves as a mental health advocate encouraging members of the armed forces to get help if needed. Herschel has visited over 300 military bases.
Herschel is a conservative who actively supported President Donald J. Trump in 2016 and 2020 when he spoke at the Republican National Convention.
#Fightback CEO L. Lin Wood recognizes the value Herschel brings to the Foundation, “I cannot think of a better person to lead the fight for God, justice, and the United States Constitution than Herschel Walker. #Fightback is honored to have Herschel join the Foundation.”
#FightBack Vice President Lawson Pedigo said that the addition of Walker to the team is a welcome one, “Herschel Walker is an inspirational person who understands what’s happening in America right now and his willingness to engage on these issues is appreciated and welcome.” Pedigo added, “We have a great team at #Fightback, committed to our mission of helping others who might not otherwise have a voice to fight back.”
#FightBack, which itself has been the target of censorship with removal of its Facebook page, Twitter account, GoFundMe account, and other social media platforms, continues to seek donations from the public to pursue opportunities to advocate for the rights of forgotten Americans.
